What can workforce solutions learn from the products that have changed everyday behavior?
The most successful products in our lives did not become successful because they were the cheapest, or because users cared about the tech behind them. Netflix, Amazon, Uber, and others changed behavior because they made complex processes feel simple by getting three things right: convenience, pace, and transparency.
People rarely describe workforce solutions this way. These are the systems and services organizations use to find, manage, and support the people, partners, and tools that get work done. More often, the experience is fragmented. Managers wait for updates, talent disappears into processes, and organizations struggle to see who is doing what work, at what cost, and with what level of oversight.
That is where the product lesson becomes a business lesson.
